Al Nahda Club






Al Nahda Club was established in 03/12/2003 upon merger of Al Buraimi and Mahdah. Thus, the club became one of the strongest competitors for the titles of His Majesty’s Football Cup and Premier League. The Club is actively participating in the Gulf and Asian football championships. Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, the Club’s President Emeritus, is one of the Omani prominent sports figures, in general and for Al Nahda Club particularly, who has presided the Club after such merger and contributed in the Club achievements including winning the Omani Football Premier League Shield twice in the 2006/2007 and 2008/2009 Season, and qualifying for the final match in His Majesty’s Cup of 2008.    





Main achievements:

The most important achievements (tournaments and local, Arab, continental and international competitions) for the Club including:
Achievements made by Al Buraimi Club before the merger and that of Al NAhda Club thereafter.

Holy Quran: The Club has ranked the first place in the Holy Quran Competition of 1989 at the regions level in the Sultanate.

Art competition

The First Place in 1985 Art competition.

Cross Country:

Third Place in Cross Country Compaction for A'Dhahirah Clubs in 1991.
