Al Orouba club lifts His Majesty’s Cup


Al Orouba has been crowned HM Cup champions after they beat Sur 2-0 to lift the prestigious His Majesty's Cup title for the fourth time in front of a capacity crowd at Sur Sports Complex yesterday.


It took Al Orouba five years to win the title, to add to the third crown they clinched in 2010, and it was star performer for the national side Eid Al Farsi who turned the hero scoring both the goals for the champions. 


HH Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, Secretary-General of the Royal Court Affairs, handed over the trophy to the winning team in the presence of Sheikh Saad bin Mohammed bin Said Al Mardhouf 
Al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs and Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi, chairman of Oman Football Association.
