As a reward for their contribution for football development and the strides made by the Omani Football Association, the Sultanate has been chosen as a venue for the FIFA Executive Summit.
According to a statement issued by the Omani Football Association (OFA), Oman will host the FIFA Executive Summit on February 4 in 2018.
The Summit will be organised in the presence of who is who of global football, including FIFA chief Gianni Infantino and the top officials of various national associations.

Suwaiq were crowned champions of the His Majesty’s Cup, as Tche Tche’s late brace secured them victory over Dhofar in the finals.
The game was evenly poised for the larger part, however, Suwaiq took the initiative by finishing their chance late in the second half. Tche Tche slotted his chance past Riyad Subait and brought the game to a sudden life, along with urgency in the Dhofar side.
Dhofar pressed and pressed but got caught out at the back by Suwaiq, who secured the Cup with a second goal from Tche Tche.
