Sohar stay resilient to book Top 4 place

Sohar pulled through after squandering a first half lead to Muscat Club, showing resilience to book their Semifinal place.

Sohar opened the scoring, Mohanad Al Kahali putting his side ahead in the 36th minute.

Muscat, dogged as ever, stuck to their reputation of being a team that never gives up as they brought the game back to parity at the turn of the half, Saeed Al Dabaouli notching his name on the scoresheet.

Ishaq Al Maqbali and Salim Maqbali then secured the game for Sohar, scoring goals in the 67th and 78th minute to take their side into the semifinals.

Sohar now play Al Nahda in the semifinals of the Mazda Professional Cup.
